Before seeing this movie my exposure to the comedienne/actress Amy Schumer was quite limited. But this very funny (and very crude) story of an uninhibited magazine writer had me laughing out loud (as well as frequently cringing in reaction to the uncomfortable situations she put herself into). I’m not convinced, as some reviewers have commented, that this could be taken as a tale of female empowerment, so best not to take any of the story seriously. Recommended for laughter.
