I agree with a number of movie critics who complained that the story is weak, but at the end of the day, I though the film worked. The key is to go for the acting of Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall as a hotshot, arrogant lawyer and son vs. cranky old judge and father, respectively. My suggestion: don’t bother reading more about the film and don’t worry that the story itself is not strong. Just relax and watch.
