A very off-beat Canadian film about a sad-sack kind of guy, raising his son alone while his wife serves a prison sentence for having sex with one of her high-school students. He is always on the edge (when he is not tumbling over the edge) of emotional despair. A good movie choice for those times you feel like watching other lives fall apart, with some black humour thrown in so that the 80-minutes of film doesn’t emotionally drain you. Decent film but not too much more than that.
