Billed as an action thriller, Sean Pean, playing an aging hitman trying, not very successfully, wouldn’t you know, to make up for earlier work-related deeds (yes, it’s redemption time), doesn’t add anything new to this genre. Too bad as it all looks good on the screen and Sean Penn and Idris Elba (and Javier Bardem) are all very good actors. However, not bad, just not very well done.
