There would probably be a bit less interest in this documentary about the last year or so of the Obama administration (focussed on work of the foreign policy team of Samantha Power, John Kerry, and Ben Rhodes — the National Security Advisor), if tens of millions of people weren’t so nostalgic for the previous presidency (or any prior US presidency). I always find it interesting to catch behind-the-scenes glimpses of political/diplomatic work, but I don’t think there’s a lot to learn here unless you didn’t follow much of was reported on at the time. A decent film, and interesting, but unlikely that any documentary filmmaker would have been allowed to publicise the real action behind the action.
