Julianne Moore’s terrific performance as a middle age woman confronting early onset Alzheimer’s disease makes this film better than the subject matter may suggest. I recommend letting Ms. Moore take you along for the ride but don’t pay too much attention to her character’s family and friends, who are generally stock characters.
