I seem to be in the minority of folks who thinks this is not one of the best Bond films.  My take is that it is a decent franchise installment, with some impressive visuals (I saw it on the IMAX screen) and the wonderful Javier Bardem as the dangerous villain.  A bit too heavy on the theme of aging, in my opinion.  The female characters (with the exception of the great Judi Dench as M) were weaker than usual, and the movie was a bit less playful — which was intended, I know — than even the last few Bond flicks.  However, it’s entertaining cinema, so enjoy the popcorn and drink.
