A fascinating look at the creative process. This documentary follows the great contemporary dance choreographer — and media shy — Paul Taylor (director of the NYC-based but globally famous Paul Taylor Dance Company) from the first inkling he has of a new dance number for his company (the members of which appear to be in awe of him) to the public performance of the finished show. You don’t have to find contemporary dance interesting to enjoy and appreciate this story, but it helps.
