A quiet tale of three plus one sisters in contemporary Japan, where the plus one is the half-sister of the three, all of them daughters of the same father who has recently passed away. The three sisters invite their half-sister, now an orphan, to join them and live together in one house. Nothing too dramatic happens in this film, but this is all about these four young women navigating life and it’s done well. Interesting characters and realistic dialogue. (Subtitled.)
