Just as preposterous as the original, the 5 “horsemen” (including one new character and the always enjoyable Woody Harrelson doing double duty) — i.e. magicians — return to confound us with some needless complexity, a bit of entertaining misdirection and some fun magic. That being said, it’s a relatively decent (but not better than that) popcorn flick, probably 20 — 30 minutes (of a 130-minute show) too long. Like magic, I’ll probably forget all about it in a few weeks.
