Stylish (what else would one expect from director Tom Ford), engaging, noirish, and enjoyable, but most likely forgettable psychological thriller with Amy Adams (always a pleasure to watch, as I mentioned above with respect to Arrival) and Jake Gyllenhaal as a divorced couple whose previous relationship cannot be left behind. Fun for a couple of hours. Michael Shannon’s supporting performance as a Texas lawman may in itself may be worth the price of admission.
