A low-key but effective and disturbing tale of new additions (from the homeland) to a Toronto-based Russian family — a woman marrying into the family and her daughter, a 14-year-old who seems to have long ago learned how she can use her sexuality to manipulate men, including the 16-year-old son of the T.O. family who is forced to chaperone her over the summer. Good performances all around, especially the younger actors. (Subtitled.)
