A sweet, funny, sometimes silly film from Quebec that is intended — only somewhat successfully — a satire of political life. A young man from Haiti interns for a rural independent M.P. from Quebec, who, unexpectedly holds the deciding vote on a matter of national import. The M.P., his family, and his new intern sidekick must navigate these uncharted political waters. An underrated film, but one that does not need to be seen on the big screen.
