I’m sure everyone reading this knows the plot of Agatha Christie’s book of the same name, so I won’t waste my time repeating it here. All you need to know is that while the cinematography looks very nice, the over-the-top acting (intentional, I presume) by such stars as Kenneth Branagh (as Hercule Poirot), Judi Dench, Willem Defoe, Johnny Depp, etc. made for a boring ride. Yawn.
