(Seen at the Hot Docs Festival) Sad but educational documentary about a family who runs a private ambulance — yes, one ambulance — in Mexico City. Filmed over three years, we follow the Ochoa family who try to make ends meet by taking injured or ill patients to hospitals, where they hope (!) they will be provided some remuneration. The Ochoa family — quiet heroes, I suggest — is needed as there are only 45 public ambulances for about 9 million citizens of that city. A film that is both heart-breaking and inspirational.
