One of my favourites of the year. Casey Affleck and the rest of the cast (especially, Michelle William and Lucas Hedges) are superb in this beautifully told, non-melodramatic and contemporary story of hope, life, death, tragedy and family set in a quiet fishing town in Massachusetts. Affleck brings heart and soul to a character who, as a result of tragedy earlier in his life, has lost a good piece of each. I was engaged every minute of this 2+ hour film.
