One of the bleakest and grittiest films I’ve seen in while, but a powerful story and impressive acting that will haunt you for some time.  Lore is a young German teen who, in 1945, as the war is coming to an end, is charged by her parents (who will soon be arrested by the Allies) to take her  young siblings across Germany to find safety with relatives.  (Subtitled.)
