Based on the true story of a black man who becomes a White House butler under eight US presidents, this movie should have been, in my humble estimation, more engrossing. Forest Whitaker as the star is good, as usual, but the film seemed more like a bit dull slice of history lesson than a fascinating movie (which it should have been). The movie seemed longer than its 2 hours.
