Natalie Portman is in top form with her portrayal of Jackie Kennedy in the aftermath of JFK’s assassination.  The focus is so much on her — as she battles private grief while facing public glare — that the rest of the movie, I think, suffers.  If you go primarily for Portman’s performance, you will be satisfied; if you go for a fuller story, you will perhaps be a bit disappointed.
