The mathematician (and musician, philanthropist, champion of gay rights….) Jim Stewart seems to have made a fortune publishing and teaching mathematics, and he dreamed of creating a home that would double as place for concerts. Interviewing many architects for the job, he chose two who he worked with over several years and, at great expense, created a magnificent home in Rosedale, Toronto, known as Integral House. Much of this 60+-minute documentary follows Jim as he wanders the curves of the house, and as he enjoys the many concerts held in the home’s wonderful performance space. A delightful but all too brief look at this fascinating man and his home.
