A low budget, very indie black comedy (which happened to win the Jury Prize at Sundance this year) about a nurse whose dull life is transformed as she plots vengeance after her home is burglarized (a crime for which the police don’t have much concern or time). Elijah Wood plays a bizarre/eccentric neighbour who is enlisted to help solve the crime and restore justice. As you can imagine, that plan takes a big detour when they run into some vicious criminals. If you don’t take the movie too seriously, you’ll enjoy the ride.
