Lily Tomlin is delightful as a curmudgeonly grandma doing her best to help her granddaughter out of a tough situation.   It’s a low-key movie where the real action is in the dialogue and facial expressions. Nice supporting performances from Marcia Gay Harden and Sam Elliott.  Some clichéd scenes, but just let the acting pull you along.
