Given that the plot of this movie very closely follows that of the book upon which it is based, and given that I read (and thoroughly enjoyed) the book — it was hard to put down — a month or so before seeing the film, the story was not too fresh for me. That being said, the movie was enjoyable, Rosamund Pike was especially good (Ben Affleck was good too) and its 2.5 hours went by without any boredom for me.
