Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem

Can a twohour movie, set entirely in a drab room (somewhere in Israel), and involving only a wife, a husband (from whom the woman is petitioning for a divorce), a threesome of rabbis —  called upon to decide the fate of the marriage  — and a few witnesses for each side be exciting, fascinating and engrossing?  Yes, it can, and this film is the evidence.  You’ll be impressed. (Sub-titled.)
