Based on the true and tragic story of eight mountain climbers who perished on a 1996 expedition to the summit of Mount Everest.  The film stays close to story — I think it’s billed as a docudrama — and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Jason Clark do decent jobs as expedition leaders.  See it on the big screen for maximum effect.
