If you enjoyed the original Equalizer (also starring Denzel Washington) — and I did, not that it was a particularly good movie, but it had a certain charm, primarily due to Denzel — this sequel is a disappointment.   Much sillier, less cohesive, this story of a one-time CIA special operator who rescues people in trouble (usually without their knowledge), always with much violence and bloodshed is a letdown. Too long, too slow, too much.
