This one needs to be seen — if you plan on seeing it — on the big screen — I saw it in 3D Imax — as the cinematography is stronger than the story, in which Benedict Cumberbatch, playing a self-important and top-notch surgeon, becomes, of all things, some kind of sorcerer, after tracking down the queen of mystics (for the most part delightfully played by Tilda Swinton), after which many battles ensue. Whatever. Just go, if you so desire, for the ride.
