Coriolanus: Stratford Festival on Film

In 2018 director Barry Avrich set up his cameras at a live performance at Stratford of this Shakespeare play, directed by the always creative Robert Lepage, about the rise and fall of a legendary general.  Lepage’s play (which unfortunately I did not see live) was the recipient of much critical praise and this film version is, on its own merits, quite impressive.  (Avrich has been, and continues to be, responsible for the filming of Stratford’s Shakespeare plays.) See it at Cineplex (select dates).
