This documentary about how governments use the internet, particularly social media, against their own citizens is certainly kinetic, zipping from one image to another without, in some instances, sufficient time to flesh out the important bits, but it does grab one’s attention.  Mostly the camera follows Toronto-based Ronald Deibert of the Citizen Lab as he surveys that state of citizens’ security — or lack of it — in a number of countries.  Be scared. (Note to self:  learn how to access and use the “dark web.”)
