Years on from his very popular science show in the 1990s for children, Bill Nye travels the US in this documentary to battle scientific ignorance/illiteracy, of which there is plenty. We follow Bill at presentations, in discussions with science teachers, visiting a creationist museum, etc., but I found that the filmmakers, sadly, didn’t delve too deeply into the subject — it was more of pointing out where ignorance lies, which I think most of us who follow the “mainstream” media already have a pretty good idea of.
