New York Ballet principal ballerina Tiler Peck was, in 2017, the first female to be hired to curate the renowned BalletNow programme held in L.A. Not only does she direct, but Tiler also must rehearse several dance numbers she will be performing in. We follow Tiler from her home to L.A. and many rehearsals, but I don’t think you’ll learn that much that is new in the behind-the-scenes visits with her fellow dancers, choreographers, technicians, etc. What you will likely enjoy is the dancing — ballet, hip-hop, tap, etc. — put together in exciting new ways for the big show.
