Slow and too showy first half, picks up in the 2nd half with the viewer wondering if she — i.e. the character played by the always delightful Marion Cotillard — is or is not a spy as Brad Pitt, a RCAF pilot, battles Nazis in 1942 Morocco and mans a desk in London for the duration of the war.  Brad Pitt was wasted here, and the film was too much a costume period piece at times for my taste.
