Keira Knightley is very good as a real-life (relatively low level) British intelligent analyst who is so disturbed by what she learns the Americans are up to in pressing for war against Iraq in 2003, that she leaks this info, which finds its way to the media, putting herself and her family in real danger. While the consequences of this leak have been in the public record for years — but if you are unfamiliar with this story, I encourage you to not find out what happens before seeing this movie — the movie moves briskly and enjoyably throughout. Ralph Fiennes is quite good as one of analyst’s lawyers, but the focus is rightly, I think, on Keira’s performance.
