Visionary and influential dancer and choreographer Merce Cunningham is the subject of this interesting and entertaining documentary, filmed in 3D (and all the better for it). Archival footage gives us glimpses of the man and artist over several decades, while recently filmed dances by his company of dancers show us the power of his art (although I think more of his work could have been added to this 90-minute film without the risk of boredom). Worth the visit to the cinema for the 3D delight.
