Watching superb actors such as Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren play opposite each other is generally worth the price of admission, even if the story they are in pushes past the boundaries of the believable, as is the case here. The problem is not the number of secrets kept by the characters, but the credibility of both the secrets and the characters. Mirren and McKellen deserve better.
