In the spirit of the movie Contagion, this is a tale of investigators searching the world for the cause of a rapidly spreading infectious disease that turns people in rampaging zombies in the space of seconds. Brad Pitt plays the hero and he does it well. The zombie scenes are actually done with a reasonable level of restraint (relatively speaking). The movie has all the clichés, but it works fairly well and kept my interest throughout.
