If you like the acting of Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson, you’ll most likely find this a very enjoyable tale, inspired by real life, of Walt Disney’s attempts to gain the rights to film the story of Mary Poppins. Of course, the author of the famous story was not inclined to sell the rights. The rest is, as they say, history. Good fun for the entire family in the best Disney tradition.
