The story can be predicted in advance — gay men tie the knot, resulting in one of them losing his job, now with no money to keep their apartment they must move in separately with friends/relatives, etc., but it’s the characters, not the story, that gives this film life. Although John Lithgow and Alfred Molina are the stars and big names in this film, the best and most interesting roles are played by lesser known actors. The plot is relatively predictable — go for the journey, not the destination.
