Based on a true story, I was pleasantly surprised to quite enjoy this tale of a flashy and greedy sports agent (played well by Jon Hamm) who travels to India to find someone — who excels at cricket, perhaps — who can be trained to be the next great pitcher in major league baseball. Yes, you can put a mark beside most of clichés in your checklist, but the story is told with humour, sweetness and charm.
