Yes, I know this film won the Palm D’Or at Cannes last year, and yes, some of the many scenes of two (or three) people just talking are mesmerizing, and yes, the location of Cappadocia, Turkey, looks amazing on the screen, but I think it would have really benefited from being much shorter than its 3.25-hour length. However, I suggest you don’t take my word for it and see if you are more appreciative than I of this tale of a former actor running a small and remote hotel with his wife and sister. (Sub-titled.)
