I saw this film on Netflix, so I’m glad I didn’t shell out the dough at the theatre.  James McAvoy appears to have a lot of over-the-top fun as a drug addicted, racist, misogynistic, bigoted Scottish cop.  This was crude fun for the first 30 minutes or so, but after that I was asking myself, why watch any more.  I don’t think there is middle ground on this one — either you’ll have a whale of a time or you will be disgusted.
