Billed as a Western, it has the look of a Western (set in late 19th century Colorado) but it’s not like any other Western I’ve seen — bleak, but comically so; everything seems to move slowly, but the film (at just over 80 minutes) flies by. Michael Fassbender is terrific as the ironic outlaw, keeping alive an young innocent (from abroad, of course) who is searching for his dear love.
