How can anyone not appreciate the incredible voice and good cheer of gospel and blues singer Mavis Staples, still going strong after 60 years or so? Just watching her perform is worth the price of admission.  I had no idea that her family (“Pop” Staples and the Staple Singers) were pioneers in crossing over from gospel to Blues.  Some good talking heads and interesting archival footage.  A sweet film.
