Comedian and actress Sarah Silverman is, for the most part, the only reason to see this film. She plays a mother (to young children) and wife battling with mental illness and alcohol and drug addiction, and she is very impressive in this role. It’s unfortunate that the other characters seem much less fleshed out than Silverman’s, but she steals the show.
