Based on a true story, this British film, set in 2006 Afghanistan, follows a British soldier patrol that runs into a stretch of land dotted by landmines (likely leftover from the Soviet occupation years before). The result is not for the faint of heart, trust me. There are no fancy special effects, no big stars, but this is one tense movie-going experience. (The film is in English, but I found some of the accents, at some points, to be a bit of a challenge.)
