I wouldn’t say this film isn’t at least decent, but I was disappointed with a story that seemed too silly and too slight to warrant almost three hours of a viewer’s time. I generally enjoy/appreciate Tarantino’s work, but even the great Samuel L. Jackson and the lovely cinematography (I saw the 70 mm version) didn’t elevate this story beyond decent for me. Perhaps you will appreciate it more than I did. Lots of (fake) blood, of course, but more words than blood.
