Wow!  A stop-action animation film that made the relationship between a middle-age man in, at the least, full mid-life crisis and a younger insecure woman, come alive with intelligence, style, creativity, wit, and (painful) truths about the human psyche.  A (co-)creation by the imaginative Charlie Kaufman (of Being John Malkovich and Adapation, fame).  Definitely a favourite of mine.
