Set in a small seaside town in Chile, this is quiet, dark and challenging story of several priests who have been exiled by the Catholic Church from their respective parishes for various sins (such as molestation of children).  Now under the watch of an understanding nun and adapting to a regimented and uneventful lifestyle, an emissary of the Church is sent to take stock of the priests’ remorse and decide their future.  Let’s just say that the emissary’s visit does not lead to a happy ending.
