I saw this Hong Kong made sequel — the original, which I have not seen, was from 2012 and was apparently a big hit — in a full Hong Kong theatre (it played with English subtitles there), and was mildly entertained by the antics of good cops, bad cops, psychotic killers, many close-ups of intense faces, and lots of twists and turns. Standard fare for this genre.
