Don Cheadle plays jazz trumpeter Miles Davis during some of more rough years. The story has what you would expect from such a tale — greedy record company execs, a persistent reporter (an enjoyable Ewan McGregor), and women who suffer as a result of being in thrall to a musical genius. I have no idea how accurate the story is, but I went along for the ride and was reasonably entertained. Good soundtrack, of course.
